Later in the year I will be the Quilt Expert on a North East Stitchtopia Quilting Retreat in Durham and Northumberland. The retreat is to take place from October 21st to the 28th 2024. The week has a very varied format with visits to the Bowes Museum, Durham Cathedral, the Beamish Open Air Museum, Alnwick Castle in addition to two one day hand sewing workshops with myself. The visits and day trips are all led by an experienced tour operator so we will benefit from their experience of the area. In 2025 I will teaching at a weekend Quilt Retreat in Scarborough. This is from May 30th to June 1st. We will be working on a quilt using curved piecing techniques covering single and double curves and also adding applique and Foundation Paper Piecing to our curved blocks. This is going to be a great weekend full of good food, enjoyable stitching in the company of quilt enthusiasts. Come and join us.
