I have an extensive range of workshops on offer. Some are available as half days or evenings, while others are one, two or three day classes. I am happy to travel to groups or shops. I have a number of patterns for sale and these are available as PDFs, ready for instant download. Patterns can be purchased by Paypal through this website or a selection are available from my ETSY shop via this link where other payment options are available.

  • Yesterday I taught a workshop @tudorrosepatchwork where we were working on Tropical Blooms. The blocks combine appliquéd flowers with strip piecing. Such a variety of fabrics were used from a neutral colour palette to Christmas to full on scrappy and lots in between. Next month we will be adding another bloom and stitching the blocks together.   • Have had a very quick trip to New Zealand to celebrate my mum’s 90th birthday. It has been wonderful to spend time with both my mum and dad and also the wider family. The birthday celebrations have gone on for days. The weather has been mostly sunny and warm and we have made the most of it by visiting the wineries and eating our way around Hawkes Bay. Back to the cold…… #newzealand #napier #napiercity
  • I was given this little red leather label by @quiltscornerstone. She bought it in Japan so I had to make a craft bag so that I could use the label! Luckily I had the red and white sewing themed fabric in my stash which I had purchased from @poppypatch2015 awhile ago and had been waiting for the right project to use it. Just love it when everything comes together. Now it just needs to be filled with notions and haberdashery which I’m sure won’t be a problem! #craftbag #craftbags #gatheredbag #bagforcraft #bag #crafting #sew
  • I enjoyed making this table runner with beautiful fabrics from a collection called Norwegian Forest Dreams designed by @arnecarlos for @lewisandirenefabrics. The table runner is constructed using a stitch and flip technique so comes together very quickly. The pattern is in this month’s @lovesewingmag #tablerunner #springfabric #stitchandflip #newfabric
  • Now that it has been gifted I can share this little cot quilt, drawstring bag and fluffy kiwi. I made this for a friend who has a New Zealand connection and has just had a baby. Fabric was purchased @tudorrosepatchwork and was perfect for this gift. #kiwifabrics #kiwi #kiwigifts #cotquilt #cotquilts
